The only rule is work. If you work it will lead to something. It’s the people who do all of the work all the time who eventually catch on to things.

We recently stumbled across the captivating collage work of Brazilian artist Lucas Simões, who’s captivating fragmented portraiture attempts to capture its subjects in the most unconventional ways. For his most recent series, ‘Desretratos,’ Simões photographs intimate friends as they tell him an intimate secret. The secret is assigned a color and song by the subject, and is then manifested into physical form in an attempt to capture the thought. Get a look at more of the artist’s recent work here on Hi-Fructose. - http://hifructose.com/ the-blog/ 2003-the-collage-of-lucas-s imoes.html
